Be Proactive for a Safe Back-to-School Driving Experience

Although it’s still summer, the time is right for getting your car ready for the back-to-school season. Jeff Smith Kia wants you to know how to take care of your car so that you can get off to a great start for a successful year!

When is the last time your car tires were rotated? As a general rule, your tires should be rotated at least once a year. However, if you’ve taken extended road trips throughout the summer, more than likely, you’ve added more miles than normal. Additionally, your tires, including the spare, should be checked for any leaks to prevent a flat. This is also a good time to have all of your exterior lights checked, such as the turn signals, brake lights, hazards, and headlights.

We encourage you to schedule an appointment with our service department. Being proactive will save you time and put your mind at ease.
