Get a Flat Tire Fixed Now

Driving is dangerous if you have a flat tire. At Jeff Smith Kia, we offer a few tips to make sure you can replace a flat tire.

The first thing you want to do is identify which tire is flat. Get out the necessary supplies, including the spare tire, a car jack, and the lug wrench. It’s also a good idea to use emergency accessories to let other drivers know where you are.

You will need to remove the lug nuts in order to get the wheel and tire off. Then, you need to put the spare tire onto the stems. Use caution when the vehicle is on the car jack so that it doesn’t fall off. This is why it’s a good idea to loosen the lug nuts before it goes on to the jack. Additionally, you should tighten the lug nuts when it’s all over after you get it back onto the ground.
