The 19th annual Georgia National Rodeo, presented by Jeff Smith Dodge, was held February 19-21, 2009.

The Georgia National Rodeo has been designated a Southeast Tourism Society “Top 20 Event for the Month of February” (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008).

The Rodeo is sanctioned by the PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association). The Rodeo features specialty acts plus cowboys and cowgirls from across the country competing in seven events: saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, tie down roping, steer wresting, team roping, bull riding, and barrel racing. Points earned at the Georgia National Rodeo qualify riders for the National Finals Rodeo held every December in Las Vegas.
